The Situation

Choosing a payroll software was a pain for both small businesses and their accountants. Picking the wrong payroll solution could damage the years of trust accountants have built with their clients and create more headaches for them both. However, accountants would often avoid recommending a solution like QuickBooks Online Payroll as we’ve dropped the ball on many common payroll dilemmas causing them to lose faith that we could meet their client’s needs.

The Solution

We had to rebuild trust with accountants before we could prove that we were right for their clients. QuickBooks Online Payroll was rebuilt from the ground up thanks to feedback and dialog with everyday accountants to ensure we could meet today’s payroll needs. One of the ways QuickBooks holds itself accountable to accountants is how we take their feedback seriously. Veeeery seriously. So to bring that idea to life, we decided to show a team at QuickBooks getting over-the-top inspired by a single accountant’s suggestion.
